Remodeling in Pacific Palisades

Coastline DC Inc. helps Pacific Palisades owners plan improvements to existing homes around their actual condition and intended use. A focused kitchen or bathroom renovation, a broader interior update and a rebuilding project require different starting information and should not be combined into one assumed scope.

Select the right starting point

For a retained home, describe the rooms that work poorly and the features you want to preserve. Kitchen remodeling may focus on circulation and cabinetry; bathrooms need coordinated attention to fixtures and finishes. Additions or major changes require a separate assessment of the existing building and the proposed design.

Useful services to compare

  • Kitchen remodeling and custom cabinetry.
  • Bathroom remodeling and finish coordination.
  • Complete-home remodeling with clear retained areas.
  • Additions and outdoor improvements subject to site and approval review.

Separate ordinary remodeling from recovery work

Pacific Palisades is within Los Angeles, not a separate permitting city. Use the actual parcel to identify City planning, building and any coastal requirements. The City's fire-recovery procedures have eligibility conditions; an address in the neighborhood does not automatically qualify a project.

If the property has damage or an unresolved site condition, explain it before selecting materials. Required assessment, clearance or specialist services should be distinguished from the construction proposal. We do not represent a standard remodel as a disaster-cleanup authorization.

Make the site plan practical

Consider delivery access, retained landscaping, occupied rooms and the route used to bring materials inside. Where the property has a slope or constrained approach, review staging and handling before assuming a large delivery can reach the work area.

Bring available drawings, photos and the desired outcome to the initial discussion. Cost and timing depend on the actual scope, existing condition, selections and approvals. Coastline DC Inc. has operated since 2002, CSLB #813394. Availability is Sunday-Friday, closed Saturday, with onsite work subject to local restrictions.

Questions about your project

Can you review an undamaged home's kitchen?

Yes. Describe the existing condition and planned changes; recovery programs are not assumed to apply.

Is every Palisades property subject to the same coastal review?

No. The parcel and proposed work determine the relevant planning checks.

Do I need a complete design before contacting you?

No. Photos and a clear description can start the assessment. Plans and selections are developed to the level needed for the proposed work.
