For most seismic and structural upgrades, yes. We coordinate with the engineer of record.
Can retrofit happen during a remodel?
Often that is the best time . walls and floors are already open.
Will this delay my remodel?
It can if discovered late. Early evaluation keeps structure on the critical path intentionally.
